Evelyn attended the 4th Annual Prize Giving Ceremony on 17 July.

Thankfully, proceedings were not interrupted by any downpour (it’s the rainy season). Our thanks go to all the dignitaries who came to celebrate with us, including Paramount Chief Kandeh Kpanga III of Ngowahun Chiefdom and his wife, First Lady Madam Fudia Kanu; Chief Kandeh Kieha of Gbendembu Chiefdom; and the First Lady of Simiria Chiefdom (Tonkolili District), Madam Yeanoh Y. Dumbuya Bangura, for the support they expressed in their speeches for the Mabomboh Education Project. Their ongoing support is greatly appreciated.

Construction of our Assembly Hall/Dining Hall is continuing, and the target completion date is September, in time for the start of the new school year.
In true rainy-season style, Evelyn almost missed her flight back because a lorry was stuck solidly in the mud, blocking the only road out of Mabomboh. Only some expert off-road driving by Alimamy, our Facilities Manager, saved the day.

Congratulations to our Year 6 students, our first graduating class. We did it! 100 % pass rate. All our students passed their NPSE exams. We are super proud of them and our teachers, who worked very hard to achieve these grades.
The Board of Trustees thanks you for your continued support through your donations and encouragement.
